Swinging Sixties - Upper George
The Upper George Yard was a hive of activity in 1960s Halifax. The Plebians Jazz Club was a key focal point and an important part of the music scene in the area.
Sadly the venue was demolished as part of the brass cat development in the 1980's but the Upper George pub is still a great pub to visit and maintains the Yards musical heritage.
